I’ve watched a lot of this guy’s social media, including his “live Q&As” etc, and it was clear and even explicitly stated that he’s straight and had a gf (at the time, at least). Like lots of male models who live in L.A., he’s friends with gay men as well as all types - and he recently got his first big break off-print being cast as Troye Sivan’s love interest in a music video, so I’m sure even more new gays have discovered him/ started gossiping about him. I’d say they’re wasting their time hoping he’s gay, but... such is the internet lol
