He made a half ass allegation. Not even an allegation, an insinuation, 8 years after the alleged incident(s) and mere days before the premiere of BJA’s biggest project to date. Seems a little sketchy.
Also odd not to bring this up when Brian was on Will & Grace or when he was on that Netflix show or any other time in the past 8 years.
It’s absurd that someone can just say “yeah, this person did something and you’ll just have to take me at my vague ass word about it and use that limited information to shit all over them.
If something actually happened, sure, tell the world. But tell your story. Don’t just hint at things and expect the world to believe you.
This wall of text would mean so much more if your initial response wasn't kneejerk denial and unwarranted passive aggression.

It's been an open secret for years. He doesn't have to give anybody the gritty details when it seems all he wants is his peers to be aware, as the public clearly hasn't caught on or cares.

Then why bring it up publicly? And again, why bring it up at that specific time and not at any other time in the last 8 years?
And nobody’s asking for “gritty” details. But if you’re going to make an accusation, you absolutely should put a name to the alleged behavior. “Inappropriate behavior” has a very negative connotation and yet could be literally anything. Flirting in the workplace could be inappropriate but it’s nowhere near as severe as unwanted physical contact. Basic details matter.
The accuser tagging a sexual assault support group should give you a little bit of a hint. Something something attention span.

Genuinely, what is enough? The behavior was already named as sexual assault. Does the victim then need to give the internet a play-by-play of what went down?

His post alludes to sexual assault, but he doesn’t outright claim that. When it’s left open to interpretation people make assumptions and run with things. We don’t need vivid details, but we do need specificity.
A lot of behavior qualifies as “inappropriate” and a number of actions qualify as sexual assault. If a coworker kisses you and you don’t want to be kissed, that’s inappropriate. I’d even agree it’s assault. But it’s not on the same level as rape. Specifics matters. Words and definitions matter.
Being vague only helps his alleged abuser. It makes it easy for me, or anyone else, to question the validity of the accusation.
I don't really think we *need* anything. He made a small post to warn his friends and followers about a person who has infinitely more social power than him. Someone who he has previously spoken out against only to be ignored. The more he talks about it, the closer he gets to a defamation lawsuit. It's not exactly unprecedented.
Being sceptical about a lack of details is one thing, that's logical. My beef with you is that you downplayed the mere mention of the allegation without hearing anyone out. You suck on a personal level.
