The guy’s already a specimen being 6’ tall and as massive as he is. I still cannot comprehend literally breaking your bones and keeping them in an effectively broken state for months to grow all of 6 inches. I’m curious to know what the long-term effects are of such a procedure.

I know right? Like, of all people to feel they need to do this, him? Also, it's not like it will make him proportionally 6'5". I guess it's all about bragging rights, or maybe even some obscure world record.

He posted an x-ray picture a bit ago and, I'm not a doctor, but it looked like they weren't healing fully straight which makes me wince to imagine him working out his legs with that weak point there.

I watched one of his stories, and his justification is that he wants to be taller than his wife. He is already taller than her, but sometimes she wears high heels and that makes him self-conscious.

I doubt that's the only reason, but either way it just screams insecurity. I just hope he completes the procedures without negative consequences (he hasn't had surgery on his femur yet); at worse, it could end his power lifting career.

I try my best not to judge people and situations. I usually just stay in my lane. But in this case, I honestly don’t understand it either. He is built like a brick shit house from head to toe. So I don’t understand why someone who has almost everything he wants that the average man wishes they had, would do something so drastic and extreme as to wanting to be taller to the point where you would leave your family behind, go to a foreign country, spend a shit ton of money to the point where it probably almost bankrupts you and your business and try to get your legs extended just a couple inches.

Like I said, I really try not to judge his decision as it’s his life and reality. But if I was gifted with god given genetics and I can ONLY speak for me, I would be damn happy even if I didn’t have the height. But to each their own. I can only hope that this brings him the happiness he is looking for. As long as he ain’t hurting or maiming, trying to unalive anyone or make life miserable for everyone around him, it doesn’t really matter to me.

When bones heal they’re stronger than they were before

Brian has mentioned this, and I hope he's right. My own thoughts are they are stronger when they heal normally, not when "persuaded" to grow longer. I'm by no means a medical expert though, so I hope my gut instincts on that are wrong.

That's the most idiotic surgery someone could have. And I'm impressed that it's legal. My boyfriend broke his knees in 2021 on an accident and it was pure torture. He just had the metal pieces removed like 15 days ago and he is so over this. I can't believe someone would do it on purpose.
