They were circling around each other for a while (running into each other, Cameron guested him in a live stream, commenting on each others instas, etc) and I thought for sure a collab might happen—Cam could use an injection of fresh audience that James brings and James, well he’s a thirsty bitch, so win-win.
I remember one of those live-streams where James kept calling Cameron “Daddy” and Cam would just kinda laugh it off or ignore it.
That's one of his signature phrases and I think what he meant by that in this context is that he has a long term boyfriend (Nate) and hasn't been rejected like that so he can't relate.

That was the mud Jeffree was trying to sling during the whole James and Tati meltdown... no one has corroborated it or knows how he would even know such a thing. It’s a nasty vicious rumor and I agree it’s wrong and slanderous to perpetuate as some kind of fact when Grayson hasn’t said a word on the subject.
Let’s face it too, we don’t know everything about James and his relationship with the Dolans and specifically Grayson. James was obvious with his thirst and Grayson played along. They are adults, they had sleepovers and from the Vegas vlog shared a bed at least once... in Jeffree’s text he says “tried” to touch Grayson... so, if there is a sliver of truth to it, were they being playful and James got carried away, was Grayson receptive to his advances, but got cold feet? If you’re a hunky straight guy and your gay friend has an open crush on you and you invite him to sleep in the same bed as you, that could be an invitation that could easily be miscommunicated. Point is, who knows.
I’m not on the James Charles defense squad, but I hate when he gets hate for “being a predator” (and potentially criminal accusations) without proof. The dude is an opportunist for sure.. if he manages to make out and fool around with a “straight“ boy and get them into bed because they want to experiment with their sexuality as some the other stories have detailed then that’s consensual adult behavior, not one of a fucking predator.
