This all rings true. I would see his late night porn likes as well… he would like porn while jerking off and later clear out his likes. To access his likes page you had to actually type in a specific url, there wasn’t an apparent link/section on his Tumblr his which is why he probably thought it was hidden/private.

I saw mostly straight porn, though he often liked posts with male models in general… he liked rimming vids, girl on guy.
