Car Art And Photos!!

I had both a 1963 and 1964 Impala. The 1964 was an SS with factory tachometer, console 4 speed transmission. Cool car.

Guy at my work has an Uncle that races a 1963 Impala. I've watched it run at our local track and met these guys a couple times. All steel with glass windows boat. Check it out, it's a hoot to watch! LOL www.youtube.com/watch?v=61xAPBv5fS0

I once owned a 1969 Plymouth GTX. 440 six pack and 4 speed. No pics, but it was a fun car when all 3 of those carb's were fully open! Sold it in the early 1980's to a guy who worked in a body shop. Iowa winters and it was a rust bucket by then.

He stopped by my work at quitting time a couple years later with the GTX, It looked great! Handed me the keys and said let's go for a ride! He had also rebuilt the 440 and cammed it up a bit. It was faster then when I owned the car. I ran it thru the gears, but never beat on it to it's full potential.

Good memories.

I want you to guess what marque this exotic 1939 automobile is. I guarantee it is rare and legendary. See the Mercedes style top? What about the Lincoln type hood and rear deck? Front wheel openings look Italian? Rear wheel treatment appear Citroenesque? Maybe it is a Facel Vega? What is your guess? Oh, is that a rumble seat?
