Cardi B's Wap And Women Bragging About Their Sexual Ability

If blokes can do it, why can’t women?
Lol depends on your flavor of insecurity....The Ben Shapiro mindset focuses on the awful vulgarity and disbelief of vaginal fluidity based upon lack of personal experience. Then there's the dick size insecurity gang projecting their fear of not measuring up. Those seem to be the two predominant factions of hate for da WAP.

No it doesn't. Maybe that's what you think it means but the author of the song certainly did not intend that. It is about a woman struggling with her traditional family's wishes. Note the lyrics regarding what her parents or their neighbors will think if she comes home in the early morning. In the end she makes up her own mind and decided to stay when she joins her lover with the ending chorus of "but baby it's cold outside".

There was way too much controversy regarding womanizing that was never present. Cardio B leaves nothing to speculate. That was my point.

Yeah, the controversies are still built around totally different things. They're not comparable.

I mean, we do recognize womanizing can exist without coercion, right? Chick was ready to go, call up a cab or warm up the car, If she's really down for the get down she'll tell you it's too cold outside to leave, not ask you whats in the drink you had to offer her more than once.

Blame it on Trump lol. Everyone knows about it now and still most of the country don’t wear mask. Love how you point fingers at one person just because you don’t like him. Time to grow up and act like an adult and take responsibilities for your own actions.

Damn Karma is a bitch...I swear Trump did the same exact thing to Obama whether it was H1N1 or any other issue... It’s called hypocrisy ...

So who is the party to blame? China for creating the virus or Trump fior doing absolutely nothing about it but blame others .. The lies Blaming Obama for non-existing ventilator (which according to Trumps own administration there were 10s of thousands).the lack of a pandemic playbook for a disease that didn’t exist.

.I think your comment shouldn’t be addressed to those on this forum but to the White House. Hypocrisy and lies seems to be the theme of this administration at its supporters..

That's pretty insulting to claim that the author of the song AND HIS WIFE (you really should look up the history of the song) would write a nice little holiday song about date rape... Seriously, why would they do such a thing? Projecting current feelings on a song written nearly 80 years ago comes off as deceitful.

Because date rape was common back then?

I just listened to my first Cardi B song, WAP.

It is an OK song, but it is just Cardi B and some other woman talking about how good they are at sex. The title WAP is an acronym for "wet ass pussy", so I knew what I was getting into when I clicked on the video. I'm not shocked by the content of the song, but my reaction to it.

The song has many things that I like, a lot of sex talk and a few instances where the women say they only want men with big dicks, however I found myself rolling my eyes instead of being turned on. After the song ended I couldn't help thinking that the women in the song were probably average in bed at best. It was like a guy who won't shut up about his big dick. You know that behind all that boasting, is just an average sized guy or maybe even a guy with a small dick. Hung studs don't need to declare to the world that they're hung. They let their bulges do the talking. I think it is the same with women who have WAPs, they don't need to boast.

Am I off base? Is this just sour grapes? What do you think of women who boast about their sexual ability?

At this point in my life I enjoy anyone talking @ little off color. So many people are so damn rigid these days!

I love the song and I lobe when anyone owns their sexuality, so many times other people wanna tell us how to please them. Taking charge and demanding how u want it is something amazing. I have a podcast and we talk about so many different things, sex is a big topic.

check out my podcast @ sissytalk

Regardless, they are talking their shit because they got it like that and I fuck with it heavy!

80 yrs ago what we know now as date rape was commonplace tactic employed by men...get em tipsy, cut off the exits, force their hand...it doesnt surprise me that women of that age looked back more fondly upon it then we would now. I think you're conflating the recognition of anachronistic media with some sort of accusation of malevolent intent, when all it is is an observation of just how ignorant we collectively were back then. The unfortunate consequence of the recognition is a desire to not see the message persist especially not tied to the family friendly portrayal of winter and the Christmas season, as said song is most often entangled with.

People who go looking to be offended will always find it. I'll take the author and his wife at their word for the message of the song. Meanwhile people like Eminem write songs about killing their wives and no one cares about that... Selective outrage at its best.

I think you are off base. Rap music for a long time now has been about bragging. I don't think there's a rapper alive. Male or female. Who hasn't bragged about something. Sure, men with big dicks don't need to brag now. Generally speaking that's old news. But for a long time there men did. And when i say a long time i mean it took generations for people to understand that just because those men bragged. It didn't mean it was true.

Here's a taste of what i mean about rap's core being outrageous bragging.

And I'm like a spider crawlin' up your spinal column
I'm climbin' all up the sides of the asylum wall
And dive in a pile of Tylenol, you're like a vagina problem
To a diabolical gynecologist tryna ball a fist, I will

Another example...

Yo, snappin' necks plus I'm live, in effect
I'm in the Slick Rick eye patch, but I got it from Hex
Rappers avoid eye contact, that's outta respect

For the god in the flesh, the ominous Indominus Rex

Both of these guys are guys. And not a word from anyone about either. The problem is that it's women bragging. Not bragging itself.

Late, but I’m kind of a person who’s uncomfortable with sex talk in general (except for when I’m horny), but that’s probably just my own issues lol.

I think the only sex-related songs I’ve become comfortable with are probably those from artists I already listen to and have slowly grown on me over the years. I just don’t like when the songs are so explicitly about sex ig

I think the shock is the video, not the lyrics. There are plenty of Country Music songs about sex or having sex..George Strait's --The Fireman, Big and Rich's ---Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy come to mind, people know the lyrics, not much if any complaints, especially in 2020..

I also wonder if the complaints stopped with the women in the video, or if people were outraged at the video producer or company execs, since they greenlit the idea and made mega profits, which seems to be the American Way, as long as it makes money, do it..

I hadn't watched the video until now but i very much enjoyed it. With that said, the only reason people are looking at this video in general is this.

Ben shaprio. He's the reason so much more attention was put on this than many other things. Hilariously so i might add considering any and everyone who women are even remotely attracted to knows that yes women do indeed get wet. Hadn't watched his video for a bit now and it's still mind numbingly funny. But anyway. He takes issues with the words of the song. Attempting to point out that the lyrics are just vulgar and have nothing to do with female empowerment.

Which of course he's very wrong about. Because feminism is about women being able to do exactly what men do without being pointed to as having done something wrong when the men who do it are not. Equality.

Lets say it were the video instead of the lyrics.

This right here proves that not to be the case. Same as with this.

And this.

https://youtu.be/EVBsypHzF3U

When it comes to music videos women dancing in them has always been a thing. Always. From 2 live crew https://youtu.be/cYqSgWFgGxM up until wap. The only difference being who profits from it initially.

When a guy has a video with women dancing in it men in general have no problem with it. When it's women who have women dancing in their video. All of a sudden there's a problem. And has nothing to do with feminism.

Feminism again is a movement in which people push for women to get the same treatment as men. So if a guy can brag about how big his dick is. How much he can please a woman or man with it. Then women should be able to brag about how wet their pussy is. And how much she can please a man or a woman with it.

If a guy can have women dancing in their video. Then women should also be able to have women dancing in theirs. Equality. It's exactly what feminism is about.

But yeah, sex does sell. If it didn't. If we were to keep it from selling. This site itself wouldn't exist. Shouldn't exist.

On a side note. Thank you for bringing that up. Was gonna avoid talking about ben shaprio or linking to him but that gave me even more laughs than before.

It's not every day that a man and a woman basically scream how bad their sex life is. Not often that someone yells to the top of their lungs how ignorant they are to women's anatomy. I'm not exactly attractive. Nor big time with the ladies but even i know what's being bragged about in the video.

Anyway.

So hilarious. :)

Euphemize all you want, "Baby it's cold Outside" is a borderline musical dramatization of the Aziz Ansari incident, not explicitly illegal but definitely predatory.
What continues to get me about "WAP" is that there are valid social concerns about the self commoditization of women's sexuality that one with intelligent nuance could bring up...but all of the focus is on the agency and boasting of prowess which speaks volumes as to the insecurities of said complainants.
What incident? That chick basically tries to pass him off as raping her when they both consented
