I hope he doesn't just appear in a tank top in his hot scenes, that's how it happened in the scene with Moose, he only appeared shirtless about 2 times, which isn't enough considering the others do it regularly.

Derek has leading man qualities that he’s perfect for playing the Prince or classic romantic male counterpart. That’s not how Ewan played the part in the movie, that character is supposed to be an outsider and moody artist. Casey might be able to pull that off like in playing Hedwig or Tommy. The role needs a level of vulnerability, Derek is all confidence and bravado, it’s just who he is and how he moves through life.

Honestly, I always thought his brother seems to be more the type to be secretly gay. Casey doesn’t seem to need to project forced masculinity, he’s comfortable with himself, the brother not so much.
