Casual, non-sexual, one-way nudity

My wife and I have very different comfort levels with nudity. She is almost never nude outside of sex and bathing. I prefer to be nude whenever practical and the most comfortable when I have no clothes on.

I sleep nude and spend some time each day before and after bed relaxing nude or just in underwear. Meanwhile she will be fully dressed in the bed next to me.

This isn’t sexual for us, but there’s something exciting to me about having a casual conversation with my wife in her pjs while I’m fully exposed and naked.

Can anyone else relate or have similar experiences?

Not exactly the same thing, but my mates parents were nudists. His dad used to say the same when about his wife before she got properly into being naked around the house. He used to like her try to maintain normal conversation as he'd be standing there balls and dick out. And I kinda get the same thing when introducing someone else to nudism and they're just in their clothes still. Its a nice energy, being so free and the other person mentally going through the idea of it.

I was the clothed one often at their house when growing up so have had both sides of it.

At home my partner and I are the same way. We generally wear clothes when at home.

Except when we go to the beach, when she wears some....eye opening swimwear... She enjoys the shock value from putting down other women.

I've always worn clothes at home, as has any women that I was involved with or living with, and now married to. From the first time I was sexual with women (18+) I've slept nude except in the winter time. The women in my life have never slept full clothed, a nightgown, or more commonly a t-shirt and panties were what most of them have worn.

I had a girlfriend that always wore something even if we were going to bed to have sex (no not during sex, but she would put something on after we were finished. I asked her to sleep with me naked, even if we weren't having sex (too tired, time of the month) and she gave it a try, and actually loved it as we both enjoyed the skin-to-skin contact, and if there was a chill in the air, I kept her warm. Of course my ulterior motive was that having a women naked in my bed made it easier to initiate sexual contact and it certainly increased the frequency of sex!

In general, most of the women that have been in my life have worn something while sleeping, but none had any issues with getting nude and staying nude if I asked (before or after sex, or even if there was no sex that night) I also found that sleeping naked together when tired at night, quite often lead to sex in the morning as it became very obvious to them when I inevitably became aroused

i once answered an add on a notice board for an art student wanting still life models to draw. we met at a local cafe for a coffee and he seemed genuine so i returned to his apartment and got naked for him to draw. his drawings were good and i returned a few more times as his art skills were improving, a nice guy and a happy memory.

Did he give you copies? I usually ask to take a pic of the guy's work. I love posing for art; we have a thread here (somewhere) about it.

When I was younger, I had this side hobby…..kind of a loophole for getting free vacations, to be honest. I used to help transport sailboats across long routes: Italy to Florida, Caribbean to Europe, that sort of thing. People needed their boats moved, I needed a break from routine, so I’d volunteer. They’d cover expenses, and I’d get to spend weeks on beautiful boats crossing oceans. Win-win.
What always stood out to me was the way we lived on those boats. These were million-dollar yachts, the kind you imagine being used by guys in crisp white jackets and spotless deck shoes. But once we were out there, the vibe was the exact opposite. No formalities. The bathroom door was always open, no one wore swimwear, and there was just this practical, laid-back nudity between the crew…..always men.
It wasn’t sexual or even rebellious. It was just… easy. Efficient. You sleep naked, rinse off with a bucket overboard, stay clean from the salt and sun, and enjoy the space as freely as possible. We only threw something on during maneuvers, for safety…last thing you want is to get caught up in a winch with your junk out. Other than that, there was a kind of unspoken code: stay chill, stay sharp, and don’t make a big deal out of bodies.

It felt honest. A different kind of freedom.
