To me, Swedish footballer (soccer player) Freddie Ljungberg was the best celebrity Calvin Klein model in history. He absolutely understood the assignment, and delivered. Today, the stars and their teams "protect" the celebrities fragile masculinity, often negotiating deals where the new "celeb spokesmodel" only has to model boxer briefs for the line they're pitching, despite Calvin Klein briefs being an enduring fashion classic, perennial best seller, and guarantee icon status for the celebrity, given the limited club they're joining.

It's weird that most of the celebrity pitchmen today are fine collecting a check (and CK is fine paying it) for the celeb to model only part of the line, whereas guys like Freddie happily modeled the briefs, t-shirts, jeans, boxer briefs, regular boxers, athletic and casual wear all as part of the standard contract. Brilliant footballer and brilliant model...and fine AF.

I'll freely admit I bought my first CK briefs based on his ads (it was a "pro-stretch" fabric line he was pitching in that campaign) and I felt damn sexy every time I put one of them on.
