I actually think it’s the exact opposite, I think he’s more representative of his generation in the sense that labels and neatly packaged sexuality don’t matter at all or even make sense... if he feels like being with a chick one day he is, if he feels like making out with a guy the next then he does, etc. He’s actually acting like most socialists agree is most natural, most of them (along with social psychologists) believe that the default sexuality in humans isn’t actually heterosexuality but rather bisexuality, as is evidenced by the fact that almost every major early recorded society (Rome, Greece, Macedonia, Gaul, Egypt, etc) engaged predominantly in bisexual interactions rather than strictly heterosexual ones, and that artificial social conditioning influenced mainly by religion over the centuries is the only thing that skews this reality from being more openly observed today. It’s estimated, based on decades of contemporary research and study of past societies and general human nature, that only about 20% of humans are naturally predominantly heterosexual, with another 10% being predominantly homosexual and the remaining 70% tending strongly towards bisexuality... it’s just that in recent centuries only a fraction of that 70% majority were willing to admit that they had anything other than heterosexual feelings, urges and desires. Luckily though, that’s beginning to change once again as we slowly head back towards a more natural order based not on religious and ideological conditioning, but on human nature alone.
