Yes, I noticed this too.
I guess Brett is not happy about it, but if there also is to be a reconciliation of sorts, or then that chance of getting back together, all are easier achieved without the eyes of the world looking on.
Brett might prefer a quiet, less public break-up.
I am making assumptions and I could be quite wrong.
I am sad for both of them of course.
