I requested a rosebud custom video from him for $100 and it has been a week. No response. No video. Didn’t see that coming one bit. Be careful buying customs from him. I suggest just buying the content he already sends.
I would never pay a creator in advance for a custom video (so that I can avoid going through what you've experienced). I've requested and received quite a few custom videos from several OF creators in the past, and in all cases I paid the creators only after the video was sent. They simply sent the video to me just like any other type of PPV where you have to first pay to unlock it.
Even back when I had Christian make a custom video for me a couple years ago, he first made the video and then he DM'd it to me as a PPV. If he's now requesting to be paid upfront for customs, then I guess maybe he's doing things differently now.
FWIW, Christian is notorious for taking an eternity to respond to messages AND to make custom videos. I remember having to follow up with him numerous times asking when he was going to get around to making my custom. He would eventually reply back with something like "I'll be recording it really soon!", but then another week or so would go by without hearing anything from him, requiring me to follow-up again.
He will eventually follow through on stuff, but it will definitely test your patience due to how long he takes to actually get around to recording it. Hang in there!
