He had a partly successful appeal sentencing just a few days ago for beating up a mistress and the guy she was cheating on him with. Originally a year long sentence was commuted to 9 months and he’s paying 20 million won (~$15,000)
is it problematic to say that I would pay HIM 15k to beat ME up ?? ik it is

I assume jails in Korea are pretty similar to jails in Japan, hard discipline, silence and limited food, just the right portion of food for the work assigned to them for the day; no gym. If so, he may be released with a considerable loss of muscle mass.
Yes US prisons are quite cushy compared to the rest of the world barring Scandinavia, Australia, Canada, and some parts of Western Europe

He was, but no video. The screen was pitch black but he was talking.
He’s having a rough time since prison. Due to a poor diet of food available in the prison All of his muscle turned to fat, he lost 10lbs but still looks much heavier. He also had an untreated broken knee and ankle that is getting surgery now that he’s out. He also found out one of his relatives died that he wasn’t told about in prison as you’re not allowed calls and don’t have any access to media.
