. That just shows how much they fabricated in crafting the image of Cody Cummings. He’s not Italian at all he’s Hispanic. I remember seeing pictures of his father and brothers and they looked like every Hollywood version of Mexican gang members. Right down to tank tops under flannel and bandanas.
He talked early on in his career about the “machismo” culture he grew up in and framed it like he should be applauded for being “open enough” to profit off getting his dick sucked by a guy.
I guess Next Door thought he would be more marketable if his ethnicity was vague. It’s like his height. He’s like 5’8” but they always shot his partners kneeling or lying down with him standing so he appears taller.
Also why would people pay for photos him when there are literally thousands free on the internet?

I had no idea Cody was Hispanic; I assumed he was Italian American. There was another porn star that I liked who was labeled as Italian American in his bio too, then I found out he was actually of German descent. What's with porn stars/studios lying about ethnicity?

It was part of the deal when he returned briefly he would be allowed to use the name independently. He was the only one of the “named site” exclusives to retain revenue sharing.
NDS originally had an incentive for the performers that had their own sites to encourage them to promote their own sites where they got a share of the subscription revenue.
They then undercut them by promoting a package subscription that gave access to all the sites for the same price so ones signing up for Marcus Mojo alone when they could sign up for all the sites instead.
Except that Cody’s site actually had a lot of subscribers, a good percentage of them women, who only subscribed to his site. Of course not many of them returned when he did.
So he can use the name but he can’t use any of his pictures or videos from his time with NDS to promote anything he might sell as Cody Cummings now.

Up until recently, POC and biracial performers were not hired by major porn studios less they could “pass” or they could be marketed as something vaguely European. For instance, you could be promoted as being from Spain, Greece, Italy, France or any of the Slavic countries but no way way a Mexican, Cuban, or Puerto Rican heritage being used to market a performer. Luckily the industry changed a lot in the last decade or so.
Definitely not a pedicure. A professional hasn’t touched those nails.
