The story I think that was in the media is that someone took photos or video and threatened to expose his secret, so he decided to come out. Nothing ever leaked I don’t think.

He never really mentioned going to the police or really much of anything about this blackmail plot. I was skeptical about that claim from Colton. A very grown, gay man, willing to lie to the nation about being a straight man on the Bachelor would easily about a Blackmail accusation. Every bathhouse attendee in the US know that IDs are checked and often copied for every patron, so a "celeb" wouldn't go there for dick.
But, Colton seems messy so mabe the call for dick was too powerful. Now, he's playing June Cleaver.
