communal showers in London

The walk is all part of the experience! Once you've done it a few times, you wouldn't even give it a second thought.

But, yes, I do understand that for some blokes the whole communal showers thing is just not their cuppa. Hence the reason I advocate some gyms offering cubicles whilst others offer open showers. Something for everyone.

Oh, and thanks for the compliment. Find a gym with communal showers that's mutually convenient for the pair of us, and you're on! ;)
Walking naked to the showers was the best bit. Everything on show. The Maidstone Hilton had curtained showers and I used to walk naked from them.

Had a home game this week with my Sunday League team. As the weather was wet, everyone was muddy heading into the showers. Its weird seeing fully naked bodies, just with muddy knees. Also meant there was lots of bent over lads scrubbing their knees. Was interesting to see that a couple of our players appear to shave/wax their arsehole, as there wasn't a hair in sight.
Does the guy showering with his dad and dads mate
get embarrassed?

Good man! Don't know about you, but my respect for a man goes right up when he's someone who walks to and from the gym showers bollock naked. Shows he has a perfect frame of mind.

Another football match this morning.

The showers were in the changing room, separated from the benches by a wall. But the wall was only about chest height. Basically if you were sat on the benches you could see the head/shoulders of everyone showering.

The room also had really shit ventilation so it got really hot and steamy. I'll say it again, if you like communal showers, join a football team

Anyone been to Oasis lately? I'm going to London in two weeks and planning to check it out, but I don't wont to fork out 15 pounds for a day pass just to be let down by cubicles.
