communal showers in London

Will give both these a try. Is Stratford open showers ?

Is finsbury busy?

Showers at Finsbury were full when I went, but that was around 7pm on a Thursday. It was being shared amongst gym users, squash players and teams from the 5 a side football pitches.

please guys! when you go to visi some gym, take pictures of showers and share them here. so we can see how they are
easier said than done if there's naked guys in the changing room/showers. Quite a lot of gyms have photos or virtual tours of the facilities on their websites so you can see there...

Yeah Stratford is five heads open shower format and one cubicle
you been recently, the virtual tour on their site looks like cubicles - though that could be the ladies changing/showers, not sure as both changing room doors are open so can't see the signs...

It saddens me that so many sports centres and gyms are refurbishing and introducing shower cubicles. Their reason is that many people don't feel comfortable showering naked in front of others. But surely the solution isn't to cater to people's fear and anxieties? We should promote body confidence and self pride. Knowing you'll be seen naked is added motivation to work harder in the gym. I believe there should always be an option of a cubicle, as there can be good reasons for wanting privacy e.g. Young age or past traumas/abuse. However, there's a reason why sports teams still use them to this day. They are good for community, honesty and self confidence.

Join the military. I loved showering with sometimes as many as 15 guys, all checking each other out. Saw quite a few whoppers...
When I was a kid all the YMCA's had nude swimming. Not co-ed, certain days for the gals and another day for the guys. Saw a few whoppers there also.

I am from the states and have never heard of nude swimming. This fascinates me. Do they still let the guys swim naked at Ymca? They never would do that here in the states I think it's great. Would love to hear more.

going to be at the Geraldine Mary Harmsworth, next to Imperial war museum on Thursday and Friday if anyone else uses it...?
I've been running along the south bank this week, but I don't know anything about this park. I just get onto the train sweaty / messy. Didn't know there was a better option!

yeah you should go check it out, right next to the Imperial War Museum. It's pretty busy in there around 6 on weekdays as people use the courts after work..
