Not sure. But any way you look at it, he most likely didn’t get any money from it. With gofundme, if you haven’t reached your funding goal in the time allotted to raise it, you don’t get any of it. It all gets returned to the donors. So unless they’ve changed their terms, he didn’t get anything.

Then they’ve changed their policy. I know several people who used them and didn’t reach their goal in time and they got letters basically stating that since their goal was not reached, all money would be returned.

Yeah, they must have changed it. I was curious so I checked and that’s what I found. I believe he closed it down himself too- I’m not sure about their policy on that.
