Cooper Koch

I'm really gutted that he didn't win and lost to Colin — Monsters felt like a bigger deal than The Penguin. Still, it was lovely that he brought his boyfriend to the Golden Globes. There are plenty of out actors nowadays, but it still feels groundbreaking to see a gay couple posing together at such a major red carpet event.
The Penguin is a really great show and Colin Farrell did an outstanding job. Cooper never stood a chance against seasoned actors.

I don't think he ever had a chance at winning tbh. Too young. Award shows love to reward seasoned talent. It's okay, at this early point in his career, just being nominated is a huge deal.
Yeah. Not to mention that even without all the prosthetics Colin was unrecognizable in the role. The way he spoke and moved, he deserved it. Kinda bummed Cristin Millioti didn't win.
But I digress, Cooper is young and being nominated at this age hopefully means more opportunities for him

It shouldn’t, when there’s a gay son in the family there’s a higher likelihood that their brothers will also be Gay. My brother and I were five years apart and both Gay, I know many siblings that are Gay.
Me and my sister are both gay. My parents were always ok with it and mind you, we live in Poland.

So he didn’t get a Sag nomination but his co-star Javier Bardem did for Monsters. SAG awards are imp bc it comes from fellow actors. A snub.
I don't care much for those awards. But, Seriously? Javier did great. But one of the top 5 actors in all of television last year? I don't think so.. He wasn't even the best on the show he's nominated for.

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series
---------------
Javier Bardem, “Monsters: The Lyle And Erik Menendez Story”
Colin Farrell, “The Penguin”
Richard Gadd, “Baby Reindeer”
