I may be wrong, but my memory and perception are that European polices are in MUCH better shape that the fat-ass cops we have in America.... not that ALL are that way, of course, but body cam footage often shows overweight out of shape cops here. I guess European cops may have to abide by a physical standard?

Of course it's not more typical or atypical of other LEO agencies across the US, but it seems like the majority of cops (police departments, sheriffs' offices, etc) in Los Angeles are trim, buff and very hot. Could be down to the California, especially SoCal, lifestyle where nearly everyone wants to be in their best shape and looking good.
