Cruel Intentions TV Star Zac Burgess

He's pretty for a young guy I guess, but he is not handsome enough or charismatic enough to play that role. I've spent the first three episodes thinking "but, why does everyone want him?"

Just my opinion, though. Others might disagree.

He was tragically miscasted. Valmont in all the adaptations is supposed to be so charismatic that he is virtually impossible to resist sexually regardless of his target’s gender, age, or orientation.

It’s why his step sister manipulates him into targeting someone she holds a gridge against. She wants him to ruin her rival who is know for her modesty and self restraint.

When I saw the trailer for I couldn’t believe this was the guy that was supposed to be I the man capable of seducing anyone so completely they would debase themselves how ever he wanted. I watched the beginning of it and just didn’t buy it.

He’s attractive enough but no one’s throwing away all their wealth, status, and reputation for him or Timmy. Sorry but the role requires a level of raw masculinity they don’t have.

Ryan Phillippe was absolutely fantastic as Valmont in the 1999 movie. Handsome, seductive, manipulative, haughty... and immoral. His attitude, his eyes, his lips and his body exuded sex appeal.

I agree. Part of why I haven’t watched the show yet
