I would like to hear from users that can share their cruising experiences from the 80's and 90's? What where Adult Bookstores and Theaters like back then? Did you cruising anywhere else? What were some of your most memorable encounters? I love all the small details of the interactions and the setting.
I started in the mid-nineties and sometimes miss the easy fun in person interactions. Most of the theaters and bookstores have been shutdown in my city. I guess I would like to reminisce with my fellow cruisers.

My first hookups were in adult movies theaters and bookstores while I was in college in the mid 90s. I think the biggest difference is that there was a large cross section of guys in those days. Today it seems that the vast majority of attractive guys are on the apps so it’s pretty rare to find someone I want to hook up with at a bookstore, at least in New York. In the old days you’d find college students, bankers in suits, flight attendants on a layover, DILFs in from the suburbs looking for some action, etc. All of those people are now online.

Exactly. In person cruising to me is just way hotter.
