I thought this same thing a few months ago and was told that they are just very private BUT I really don't think they are a thing anymore.

I've wondered the same thing. They were very private about their relationship, but I feel like they're probably not together anymore mainly because on Damien's livestream this past valentine's day he mentioned people feeling lonely and said he was in the same boat so... strong implications
He was just in a bunch of videos so yeah but he does his own stuff too I think
Not only is he still there but he's also the producer for the games channel now lol.
On top of having a more off screen role at the company, he has also been getting more non smosh opportunities via his streaming and VO. Which I imagine might add to the feeling that hes not there anymore, but he is.

thats, not true though. she hasn't posted nor said anything about a new relationship at all in anyway, she has not even hinted at it. just as damien hasn't. he simply happens to have close friends who are women and she happens to have close friends who are men. that was true when they were together and it remains true now.

Well it might be based on monthly. They do seem to release a video at least 5-6 days a week and all of their videos do get at least 200K views. 200,000 times 30 is 6 million a month. That doesn't account for people rewatching videos so it could be even higher than that. They also get sponsors which could be a high contributing factor along with merch sales. If they are able to keep such a high number of rotating cast along with behind the scenes people, I would put their employees numbers (people being paid for work) somewhere around 30-40 people. So I would be shocked if they were going broke. They must be doing something right if they are able to keep everyone from the past (except games crew) and hire new people as well.
