He just made fun of the question because the person who asked said if he was “like gay” and Daniel said if that meant like one foot in the closet and the other out. Then he joked that it was hard for straight people, like himself, out there and that they also needed support. Didn’t seem to notice the twink comment.

Anyone else get the sense that he could completely snap and turn psychotic at any moment? I think, from watching his lives, that he puts it on a lot, but there's still this underlying feeling of craziness/insanity just bubbling under the surface that makes me uneasy.

What?! No, not at all. He seems to me be to be a very well-adjusted dude. He's got a great sense of humor and is a little bit quirky, but that doesn't make someone close to snapping. Poor guy's also spent the last year auditioning for projects and only securing one guest spot on NCIS, so it's understandable if he's a little frayed at times. It's hard to be told "NO" for over a year for your career/passion. He deserves at least a new show or supporting film role.

What?! No, not at all. He seems to me be to be a very well-adjusted dude. He's got a great sense of humor and is a little bit quirky, but that doesn't make someone close to snapping. Poor guy's also spent the last year auditioning for projects and only securing one guest spot on NCIS, so it's understandable if he's a little frayed at times. It's hard to be told "NO" for over a year for your career/passion. He deserves at least a new show or supporting film role.

yeah, it must suck to not land any roles, especially after having a secure gig for so many years.

Daniel pretty much gave up on TikTok. And I don’t blame him. It’s such a shitty platform. He even deleted that hot shirtless instagram photo of his at the park. I am sure his team made him take it down after all the thirsty gay comments. I’d rather him just get back into a full-time acting and not have to deal with tacky social media bullshit. thing is, nowadays, actors like daniel are a dime a dozen, and they do need to deal with tacky social media bullshit in order to get roles. because casting agents are gonna see his social media and the social media of the other actors going for the same role, and end up choosing the one that has the biggest numbers, because it guarantees better promotion for the show
