You can record those videos with iTop screen recorder. When you record you hold the shift key on your keyboard when you click record with the mouse. The app explains this too. You’ll know it’s removing the black screen because there’s an animation where the video shrinks slightly then goes back to normal just before it starts recording. It’s a feature on the app

What does this do? Allow you to record videos in background mode or without having to be on the video constantly? Of it it just a screen recording app because all iPhone and androids from the last 5 years already have that feature built in
