I cannot believe how fast Hollywood actors can bulk up. Their trainers must be paid so well.
You spend 8 hours a day in a gym 6 days a week and you’ll bulk up too. It has nothing to do with what the trainers are paid. You get what you put in physically.

Not sure if you're being hyperbolic or not, but approximately 60% - 70% of fitness is based in diet, not exercise. If you're spending 8 hours in the gym almost everyday of the week, you're either using steroids or you are setting yourself up for a very expensive hospital visit, since the human body, especially a body that is building up in weight, cannot physically handle that much stress. It's not the 80s anymore, where many misguided fitness gurus focused more on exercise than anything else. Diet, rest and recovery are ironically the Holy Trinity for the best results. Once again, if he is training naturally. If his gains are coming from a drug, that would be a different story.

I was being partially hyperbolic. My major point being, in general, average people would have better results with a bit more effort.

And if I’m not misunderstanding you, they might also have better results giving diet more attention rather than just focusing solely on the exercise. (I promise I’m not being catty or snarky I'm genuinely trying to engage and be sure I‘m understanding).

I was always taught “garbage in garbage out” with reference to action and nutrition.

I won’t count steroids out, but giving massive gains like this the benefit of the doubt, it’s 100% the diet. If I recall correctly, Hugh Jackman and more recently, Paul Rudd complained about the diets that they were limited to in order to build their bodies up for their roles. Actually, I remember Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans being vocal about that too.
