To be fair to Ms. Santos there is a bit of a Mandela effect around David (and Cameron's) sexuality because I swear there was a media cycle when they went to prom about them going together or something -- and then Cameron was "straight" at one point too, still just awkward for George to tweet that though...
They didn’t go to prom. What happened was: Cameron posted a pic of the two of them together saying that David was going to be his prom date. it was a joke, but most people (myself included) took it literally.
Cameron did date a woman for a brief period in college. When he came out, I forget the terminology he used but it was basically something like “queer” or “sexually fluid” or something like that, implying bisexuality without using the word “bisexual.”
