No matter who the majority of these hot guys fan base is, gay or straight, male or female, not one of these hot guys personally care for or about their fans and followers. For them it's all about social media fame, numbers, and money.
Whether we see them in professional modeling photos, their own Instagram content, or even on onlyfans and other adult like content they only want the fame and $$Fortune$$ that comes along with it. Not friendship from their followers.
Most if not all of these straight guys by now know that the majority of their fan base is gay men. So yes we do have a lot of them that purposely tease and do other things in a sexual way for their gay male audience. David isn't one of the ones who caters to us on purpose like so many others, but again at the end of the day it's all about filling up that bank account.
You are right, I'll add that I think David is a very special case that can't be compared to many, because he manages his social media in a very different way than the majority. His professionalism is too over the top. Not only he doesn't cater to gay but I think he wouldn't even try it if his success depended on it. Maybe it was the sex tape fiasco or a third hand experience, I don't know what, but David became an immovable wall of professionalism you don't see in the field. That's my opinion at least.

He's not wrong tbh. The amount of gays who believe everyone is gay, specially all the people that make sex content, when they clearly are posing for anyone who isn't horny enough to not notice, is very high. They take advantage of us A LOT. Again, luckily David isn't the type, although he isn't probably because he isn't interested at all in selling a sexual side of himself. But all the others? They play with their gay fanbase like cats with a half dead mouse.
