I think what some people in this thread feel is that that some of Davy’s posts (often re-tweets of others’ posts) made us feel that what he is promoting is more extreme than disapproval of LGBTQ people, and closer to measures like criminalizing homosexuality and violence toward gay people, to your comment, perhaps beyond “someone’s disapproval.” Maybe people need to be more specific, me included, with examples when criticizing Davy instead of just calling him names. There’s a lot of hate toward him in this thread because he’s posted things that seem violent and scary toward LGBTQ people.

A good chunk of his posts are offensive. Not just the anti-gay stuff. It's not just what he supports. It's the policies that are created from it. No matter what his defenders say, people have every right to call a POS exactly what it is. Freedom of speech works both ways.

All you have to do is hit most liked and you will see a litany of his comments. Even a simple google search would showcase all of his idiocy.

Cool, thanks I took your advice and done that I saw some comments on social media platforms that he made about gay referencing from the bible. The typical god made man and women (eye roll)

Anyone who asks questions or looks for intelligent discourse on this forum is quickly called names, demeaned, and labeled a right winger.

Check out an app (that’s forbidden to be named on here) and check out Davy’s forum and pics there. The subscribers there are friendly and generally civil even if they disagree.

Yeah I see that but it's only been one person thats been rude to me some others showed me how to get my answers. I genuinely didn't know what he said and I thought someone would just tell me if I asked. But it just resulted in some paranoid guy accusing me gaslighting

You have to put these comments in context. Globally, and Stateside, there is a growing antagonism against "Others." Those most vulnerable, say Black trans women, are the first to take the heat, but it's here. And for this reason, I'm going to call BS when I see it. Example: Tonight in NYC - where I dwell - Neo-Nazi's protested outside of the Broadway production of 'Parade,' and perpetuated the lie that the inspiration for the lead was a pedophile. His case actually led to the formation of the ADL (which I don't dig - but that's another discussion). In any case, see a Nazi; punch a Nazi. See someone you disagree with, engage them. I'm starting work on extremism and disinformation, and it's a tightrope to bring folks out of that life.
