That's so weird, though. Literally everyone I know in the EDM scene is LGBT (predominantly bisexual) and sex-positive. I thought it was like this everywhere.

Yeah who? EDM is well known for having lots of homophobia
Heck there's been a lot of homophobic behaviour from DJs themselves!
Like the people I enjoy EDM with in my life. I haven't gone and polled everyone at shows or anything, but everyone I know who goes to raves and enjoys the scene is not hetero.
That makes me really sad that LGBT creators in the scene would have to keep it quiet.
