So according to what i found on google hyperspermia is defined by shooting more than 6 ml's of cum at a time on a regular basis. I'm pretty concerned because I shoot more than that... There are a couple of possible reasons to go to the doctor now rather than wait until you have met someone and want to start a family:
1. If time is of the essence and, if there is a problem, the sooner treatment commences the more likely it is to be resolved. I am not sure that would be the case here, though, and you may not know either before consulting a doctor.
2. If finding out that there is a problem and it cannot be treated means you can look for different things in a partner.
Where I like, in the UK, unless you pay for a private consultation, the general rules for anything fertility related is that you are expected to try naturally for at least six months before they will start doing tests. That does suggest to me that whatever can be done in the way of treatment can be done any time, i.e. the opposite of cancer where getting in fast is invaluable.
