Many people don’t know the original song was Midnight Plane to Houston and was inspired by Farrah Fawcett when the song writer called Lee Major and Farrah answered the phone and he was chatting with her and asked what she was up to. She mentioned she was catching a midnight plane to Houston and that stuck in his mind. I know this sounds unbelievable, but it’s readily confirmed by googling.
