When I used the term socialites I mean people with high profile in social media, i.e. youtubers, instagramers, twitters with millions of subscribers/ followers. And there are a lot of social celebrities and regular celebrities that know James Charles. Dylan has the connections to what goes on behind closed door, the kingmakers, the man behind the curtain, if you will. But he still loves the lime light even if he says he wants to quit. My take is Dylan has had his eye on Gage for sometime. Gage hasn't shown quite the same interest yet or has kept it DL.
Gage has been seeing James Charles on and off but trying to be under the radar. James Charles offers incentives to get his men. Dylan would know that as he has had that arrangement with James a couple of times.
When James Charles offered Gage an all expenses plus trip with him to Coachella, Gage went for it. When Gage's relationship with James was exposed, Gage ran back to Columbia and New York. Maybe to Dylan's advantage. Gage is now happier to be associated with Dylan now because it disassociates him from James Charles.
Then James Charles rushed across country to meet (brunch) with Dylan. I assume it didn't go well as James unfollowed both Dylan and Gage on IG.

Because recent updates are better than posts almost a year old...
Personally, I watch this thread mostly for the "train wreck" factor.
When Dylan first came out I thought he was hot, but was also equally as impressed with his apparent honesty about himself, even when it would've been easier not to be.
But after watching him evolve into basically a handsome grifter/hustler, he's pretty much lost most of what I was originally attracted to.
Now I find it perversely amusing to watch him try to bullshit himself and his followers into thinking he's got it all figured out, even while his life continues to spiral downward and more out of control.
Part of me enjoys the circus, while another part of me wishes he would just stop the conning and grifting, get back in school, and get his degree.
So I say let the thread go wherever the posters take it.

Agreed, but the decent part of me still hopes he does.
If he has any sense at all, he'll see that if he lives with Michael he can get his degree while still getting the "sugar baby" perks, including having easy access to the bois orbiting around Michael. A pretty sweet setup while in college!
