Dylan o'brien

Personally wouldn't divulge that publicly (esp as a director who has a sex scene with said actor). It seems like the type of thing that could be typed into reddit or LPSG, not a public premiere (with the person present) :joy:

Right? So awkward...Dylan looks at everywhere but the guy lmao

Dylan looks uncomfortable even before he said that. Judging from this and his slightly awkward late night interview with seth I just think he doesn't like crowds like this anymore. I hate when internet people project like they know everything and pile on until it's fact. I'm sure it was brought up in the 5 years since they've met you guys...

exactly plus Dylan doesn't seem the type who would have just went on with those type of scenes if it made him that uncomfortable I doubt he's that desperate for work. He wouldn't even go shirtless on TW and that was the beginning of his career lol

You are projecting he doesn't like crowds however...

True but my projections are based off of previous interactions of him and crowds...other people's are " he doesn't even look at him when he said that" meanwhile he looks at him through the rest of the video.

In my opinion, he’s probably playing it up for the cameras because he knows it’s an awkward statement, and he has always been a dork about those kind of things. He’s the kind of guy, comfortable in his own identity, that a gay friend could be open about having had a crush on him, and he would let them feel like that is a normal thing that doesn’t phase him, and he’ll even play along for the cameras because people should be allowed to have a crush on whoever they are attracted to, and then everyone just maturely get over it and be cool about it.

Part of my personal theory of him turning down returning for that trash TW movie was because he knew the producers don’t share his maturity and allyship; he didn’t have any reason to go back for the likely vague joke and fake sexual tension that wouldn’t have gone anywhere that that story would have given with his old character. Thus his response at the time that he didn’t feel a need to return to that chapter of his life again, even though he supported his friends among the cast who did make appearances.

I think he’s just a good guy and decent person through and through, which is why guys like him and Pedro Pascal are proportionately that much more attractive to me. The ease with which they can diffuse tension and not reject adoration from gay/queer fans is pretty fucking Hot if you ask me.

He's always been that way. He's never liked crowds or interviews.

Yeah, let's be real for a moment. No one forced Dylan to sign up for a movie with explicit gay fuck scenes with the writer/director lol. He is a grown-ass adult. No one conned him into it and held him at gunpoint on set. It was in the script he signed on for, and he is the only name star to get this film made, exhibited or distributed. That is power. He chose to do this film knowing the scenes he was going to film, and he seems to have filmed them pretty enthusiastically tbqh.

So I don't think Dylan has any issue with the director (though I do think that guy probably filmed his own dreams lol). He's probably just not thrilled with press events period.

That's not even the point. No one said he's a victim... I just interpreted James's attitude as unprofessional :eyes: You can disagree with that without distorting what we said. Plus, shooting intimate scenes is not an invitation lol Not thirsting over your employee is the right thing to do.
