Agreed. The distributor is "Republic Pictures", which is an acquisition only label under Paramount Pictures. I think what will end up happening is that it will just go direct-to-video for purchase on Amazon, Apple, etc. or a streaming deal.

When does a sundance movie usually end up in streaming?

Months to Years later. A movie premiering at Sundance (or film festivals in general) doesn't have distribution deals yet. No posters, teaser trailers etc. They might even face extensive edits.
