Sometimes I think that I might be the only person who actually enjoys having a prostate exam. It guarantees my either getting an erection or getting one started. Fortunately, it usually comes toward the end of the exam. I think it's just the idea of either dropping my pants and underwear or lifting my gown, bending over, and having a man stick his finger up my ass. My Annual is this Thursday, January 6. Thanks for the tip above to inquire about PSA I am 55, no current issues (that I no of) but, I can say that my piss stream is not as intense like a The Bull it once was.

- Prostate Exam: I can take it or leave it.

Update: I had my annual today. I even got my blood & urine test back already via app. Bottom-line: all panels, tests, PSA, blood pressure, LDL, HDL normal for my age of 55 - except, I need to loose my covid pounds, mostly around mid section.

I have my first appointment with a new medical group under an HMO today. I've been PPO for decades.
Part of their program is the requirement for a physical exam and subsequent referral to a specialist - kind of a necessary referral for me given my constant inguinal and kidney issues. Luckily my "second" current urologist is in-plan.
Hoping it's a straightforward physical and not just a sit-down review of medical records. At least my "new" urologist will be one I've worked with before - he's the guy who surgically removed my left side vas deferens in December 2020. (Jeez, a lifetime ago.) Either way, I don't get hard during medical appointments and am completely indifferent to being naked, prodded and probed.
I blogged about it this morning, and will follow up once the appointment is complete.
