Euphoria On Hbo

Also, Colton Haynes did an exposé interview where he explained how Hollywood producers will solicit young actors to have sex in front of them to get them comfortable with nudity. These sex sessions are recorded, and even if the actor auditioning for the part is denied the role, the producers will keep those faux sex tapes. Which is... definitely suspect.

With the exception of Zendaya, who already has both feet in the Hollywood living room, it's not unthinkable to question if the lesser known young actors in Euphoria are agreeing to participate in softcore porn scenes just to get one their feet in the door.
I wanna see Colton's video... bad! LOL

I mean, my guess is that they will actively try not to. It's one thing to show your dick if it gets you a big break (like booking a showstopping role on Euphoria) but no up and coming actor wants to be "the guy who shows his dick in everything," unfortunately. But who knows, if it's the difference between booking the job and and not booking it, maybe we'll see more from them.
thats a very american point of view, is about the script (not saying that's on u, but the point in general, hate that u have to explain comments cause everyone here is looking to fight or get ofended)
Louis Hofmann from Dark went full frontal in a lot of his projects, but since its european, and it fits the script, he's not "the dude that gets naked in everything he's in"
there's a difference between booking him (Elias) to explote him in non necessary nude scenes, and booking him cause there might be a nude scene and he's okay with it.

Is there a thread dedicated to Elías Kacavas? I feel like he deserves one. Also I wonder if these 2 guys will continue to show frontal in shows/movies as they book more acting gigs!

Elías Kacavas only has 4 acting credits on his IMDb profile. And it’s said that he has an identical twin brother.. :grinning:

Well yes, I agree with you there. If it's worthwhile for the role, many actors would do it. What I was trying to convey is that I think young actors don't want to be typecast specifically for their willingness to get naked.

And for what it's worth, I'm not American :p

Nudity aside, is Euphoria a good show? I've never seen it before and I'm wondering if it's actually worth my time. If Euphoria appeared on a cable network with limited nudity and sex, would the characters and storylines still be captivating enough for you to watch?
It is.

Especially when it‘s always the main ACTRESSES who are fully nude and the same can’t be said about their male counterparts. It’s stupid and illogical. Honestly, I don’t know why people are ripping into your comment like you’re a sex addict, because this is pretty much typical of almost every major show being shown on TV or streaming channel.

I back your opinion 100%, because I too, am getting pissed off about this continual imbalance of on screen nudity between genders and acting roles. I don’t care if I come off as misogynist about this because I am sick of having to explain myself like I’m the only person that thinks there is something wrong with the media today - I despise female nudity and will not support anything that glorifies this idea as being a normal thing. This is 2022 for goodness sake - are we moving backwards, progression-wise of something?

Female nudity in TV shows or films normally only shows boobs tho which isn't the same as a penis.

i love the twats that judge cal's backstory through their opinion of present cal and shit on it. like it wasn't a wonderful little piece of the puzzle of cal's life, and close to home to A LOT OF THE GAYS.

go sit on the corner.

It's kind of good. It has great visuals, music and the casting is good, but in terms of an actual storyline? It's like a C+, hence why the show has to resort to a dicks & tits every 5 seconds to keep your attention.
Basically like a really pretentious, edgy person's idea of a teen show.

Not true at all, women have been showing their vagina on HBO, showtime, high level and low level films (not porn)
- Basic instinct
- Wolf of Wall Street
- Shameless
- Game of Thrones
The list goes on and on and on.
Long story short it’s time men started showing the dong, women have been doin it for a long time and it’s not exactly fair men aren’t expected to do the same. That’s why I dig this show because they keep shaking shit up

Are these two from the shower nude scene everyone is posting gonna hook up? If so I might check out the show... but so far everyone seems lukewarm about it.

Those two are part of a flashback scene that includes the characters Cal and his highschool friend Kevin. And from the looks of it, they may have hooked up at some point during their friendship. At the end of the episode they shared a kiss. Based on the writing of this show I don’t expect to see these two in any future episodes. If we do I suspect the storyline will turn dark simply because it involves Cal who’s portrayed as “troubled” and/or depraved. :(

So is this one of those CW type, teen angst shows with 30 year old actors playing high schoolers?
