Here’s what kinda confused me..

Was that actually Derek in that gay bar or was it some random guy Cal was projecting to be “Derek?”

I find it a bit of a stretch that Derek would be in the same town hanging in the same crusty old gay bar so it must have been Carl’s drunken state of mind that imagined that guy being Derek.

I don't recall the show ever mentioning nate having a brother since I thought he was an only child.

He's so irrelevant it was forgotten. We spend so little time with the Jacob's family to care or remember. But I suppose Euphoria isn't a family drama after all.

They could be cast as grown up twins (Billy and Tommy) from Marvel.

The brother was played by Zak Steiner. He was in a few first season episodes but that was so long ago

Was some other guy Cal was dancing with, but in his mind Cal was at least thinking about Derek, so for a brief moment they did use the same actor as in epi 3 that played Derek.

It looked like the family photo showed Nate has a little sister. I'm glad she didn't wake up to witness his obscene meltdown. Also this article confirms it was a prosthetic.

I think that theory already got debunked. It started bc Angus the guy that plays Fez mentioned back in 2019 that Ashtray wasn't blood-related to Fez. Also that theory is a little ridiculous when you think about it bc Rue mentions that Cal Jacobs / Jacobs family are a prominent/well-known family in their town, its not like them to leave their kid as a "collateral" like Ashtray's mom did. Like keeping family secrets here and there from the public eye makes sense but a whole kid tho?

If for some ridiculous reason that theory actually comes true then this show truly has reached to the level of CW Riverdale's bad writing.

Ashtray is just the son of a (junkie or prostitute that died or abandoned him in a drugged out stupor) unfit mother and Fez's grandma took him in because she knew her. We don't need a contrived plot twist, it's just an unconventional family.

Sometimes it’s difficult for me to watch these interviews because I prefer to see these guys in character. It disturbs my fantasy when they are out of character. Especially with Jacob’s accent so prominent.
