Exactly! In the 70's and 80's growing up, hs and college, NO ONE wore boxers where I lived. Only your old grandpa did. Then, incredibly, the 90's arrived and voilà: boxers. I suspect preppy kids maybe wore them already, but not the rest of the country. How we left briefs for boxers is a mystery I'll never be able to understand.I wore this style for years, sport briefs or low rise briefs, and they were really comfortable. It may be time to try them again. I started with "Hang Ten" briefs in Jr High when Dad noticed that I was adjusting a bit to much because standard tighty whities were not doing the job. They were a lot more comfortable. It was a little unnerving when dressing for gym class because almost everyone was in tighty whities with a few of us in bikinis or low rise. Boxerbriefs were not here yet and boxer shorts were for your grandpa.
Briefs. ok. Facial hair, definitely not.
I was born in the 90s. Every guy in my grade wore briefs up until high school. Then it was like something happened because first day of s hook, first day of gym class more then half of the guys switched to boxers. That surprised me. Then later in some went to boxer briefs. Meanwhile I stuck with briefs because I was used to them and they are comfortable. I definitely would like to know why so many switched to boxers, no support seems kinda uncomfortable to me.Exactly! Very sensible. I have no idea why boxers became the rage.I was born in the 90s. Every guy in my grade wore briefs up until high school. Me either. They remind me of shorts and I wouldn’t want shorts under my jeans. I like underwear that keeps me in placeVery sensible. I have no idea why boxers became the rage.
