Famous asians

No. I'm not kidding you. You're a gay man hanging out on a forum about big penises. Of course YOU know what kpop is. But I guarantee you that most US citizens couldn't even find Korea on a map, let alone give a shit about "kpop." It is not a major genre in the US.

Dude. @fabulous - You are the one "living under a rock"!... K-pop band, BTS, is the biggest musical sensation to hit North American shores, and the entire world, since The Beatles' first tour of the USA in 1964!... Crowds gather at the airports where they land, SCREAMING!... Tickets sell-out within an hour of their shows being announced!... Because they are SO hot!... Get with it.

Went binge shopping for Mp3s and stumbled upon "Heart Sign" by Ong Seongwu. He was my favorite member of the now-disbanded Wanna One and currently starring in "At Eighteen (열여덟의 순간)" on JTBC. So handsome... and funny

With the exception of Tekei and Chan, I haven't heard of any of these guys either.

Note, when I said "Asian" -- I meant ethnic Asians BORN AND RAISED IN ASIA. Tekei is Asian-American.

What I mean is, an Asian-born Asian actor can be huge is Asia, and it doesn't matter because they are non-entities in the US.
I know its been years since this comment. But i still want to reply this bcause im asian asian myself, u, mostly white people dont know most of these amazing asian actor that mentioned by the guy before is because, mostly the asian actor unable to get a breakthrough from asian inspired movie or drama in western or europe because their part are played by white actor
LOL. You just touched on a lot of curious issues that intrigue me. But I digress….

Kpop has made some minor inroads in the US, but for the most part it's trivial and one-hit-wonders and novelties:
And i know its still a comment from years ago, but as a decent human being, and also as a part of the "coloured" people i would still like to reply to this comment which also by the same guy. What u are saying by "trivial", "one hit wonder" and "novelties" are racist, u think asian or any coloured people are just a trend that will come and go like "oh asian is just for this season, next season will be for the black while white will stay forever"

I hope ur ideology and the racist in u are gone by now.
