This is where i disagree with you. Anybody should be thankful for their gay fanbase. However, the gay fanbase should be respectful. There is an appropriate time and place to ask. If he's been asked the same question a million times, a true fan would probably know and not need to ask again. If not, discretion would be applied. I didn't see that in the posters approach.
