I have made the same observation. Serious bodybuilders tend to have larger cocks. I haven't come across any with smaller than average sized cocks. The perception is really about perception. Their cocks are perceived to be small because the rest of them is so large. The posing trunks that smash their meat don't help, either.

I understand the reason behind posing trunks, but if it were to maximize the display of muscle, all they'd need is a sock or the thinnest thong with a pouch, even a jockstrap would make more sense (posing naked would be the ideal, but we cannot accept nudity, so, not gonna happen)

I honestly don't see why they don't pose in some sort of sock thing with a thin waist band and a simple support going down between their glutes. Some of the best striations are where the inner quads insert into the torso as well as the entire glutes muscles. I mean, hell, the getup really won't be much more naked than they already are.
