Not taking his side but it's a power thing. He likely didn't go to the police since if you actually read his tweets, he was being hit and even choked, and I'm sure he was threatening to do worse if he told. FP also was basically from what I understand paying their LA apartment expenses, and had kicked Porfi out which is another manipulation tactic more higher powered abusers use;FP is the bigger star so he was threatening to kick him out and he also broke some of his belongings as well since Porfi moved to LA to stay with FP, and when they went on a trip to London, FP kicked Porfi out of their hotel room and he had to go to the US since his money wouldn't have covered being in Europe(again, this is a tactic FP was using since he knows his money is more than porfi)
Also FP was blackmailing Porfi with a revenge porn of him having a bottoming accident(either he shitted himself during their sex or he prolapsed) as well, so i wouldn't be surprised if that was another reason he stayed quiet too. It's not as easy to walk away from abuse for everyone, especially since FP is bigger and stronger than Porfi. I don't blame him for being fearful

It’s very hard for gay men to report domestic violence issues to the police because they often do not believe it’s a real thing. It's not hard for gay men to report domestic violence to the police especially if their are visible injuries. I don't know what type of police you have where you live but the police where I'm from take domestic violence serious. Documenting these stuff with the police is crucial for the victim and can help/prevent future victims.
I don't dispute any of what you're saying. But do a little bit of research on gay domestic violence. It is NOT treated the same as heterosexual domestic violence.

Sorry to hear he was going through that and that he’s finally leaving.
