He is rightist. His state in Brazil Federation is one of most conservative state in Brazil. Massive votation for right parties in Brazilian elections. If it was an American state, in terms of comparison, it would a ‘red state’. This is lands of polish, German and Italian settlements.

Saying that someone is anti-LGBTQ is not political. It's like saying if someone likes blonde or black people. It's important understand someone's character and moral compass. You should know who you're giving your attention and money to. Not to mention he's washed out and too old at this point in life.
