this exactly, i thought he was more of an “everyday man” and not so caught up in front of the mirror or front selfie camera. I get turned off when a guy is so aware and into his looks, thought he was different.

Given his entire career is based on being in front of the camera, it makes sense he'd be hyper aware of his looks. It strikes me that he's one of those guys that wasn't very attractive or popular when they were younger and now that he's gotten the confidence , muscles and attention, he's leaning into it and loving every bit of it.

This is such "One Direction" vibes. You want people to look good, take care of themselves, post shirtless pictures, but, at the same time, not care if they look good, act like taking care of their apperance is a frivolity beneath them and not feel self-concious about posting shirtless pictures.
