I mean no one has an obligation to match their fantasies with their real-world politics and/or ethics. I don't see that as hypocritical at all. One of my girl friends is into consensual non-consent. That doesn't somehow mean that she's not also allowed to identify as a feminist who's vehemently opposed to sexual assault. She's allowed to have a sexual fantasy and engage with that fantasy without it having any bearing on reality. Fantasy and desire are not the same as action or real-world morals. They can be contradictory without being hypocritical. I wholeheartedly believe there's nothing wrong with an Asian man talking about Asian pride and being passionate about it while also having and engaging with sexual fantasies around some of the power dynamics between some white men and Asian men. It's a fantasy.
