On 14 January 2024 Denmark is going to have a new king. Queen Margarethe who has been reigning for 52 will be succeeded by her eldest son crown prince Frederik. Although I am not really a monarchist I can't deny that I am fascinated by the theme. And I have always thought that Frederik is the cutest royal in Europe. He is also the only one of whom I have ever have bought a post card. When I was on holiday in Denmark in 1987 I wanted to send a card to a friend of mine in Paris.
