I think froy is out of the closet in his personal life he just haven't told to the public and he doesn't have to.
Same with richard. But I think their careers espeically Richard's doesn't let them come forward. Richard team must want him to be a big movie star and must be after an oscar shot. I don't think they are very happy with his client dating a 22 yo boy. So let's see what happens next year when they return to their work routines

So how is that working out for them? If I really wanted to give the impression I was not with someone, I would live separately, I would ignore them on social media and have them ignore me, I wouldn't go out in public together (the protests) or be seen outside at our love nest picking up a birthday cake on my boyfriend's birthday. And I wouldn't make a point to travel together during a pandemic when most people aren't even traveling.

Maybe I don't understand what the glass closet is.

I actually think it also has to do with Richard's obsession with not being papped. I mean he has said he wears the same thing all the time when he goes out in LA (even when he's alone) because the paps can't use the pictures - they look no different from pics they already got.

tourist visas are 90 days. so unless he managed to get a work visa, which lasts for as long as the work does, he'll have one more month left in the uk. unless he does the thing some famous people do, where they leave the country for a couple days to a neighboring country and then return. like european influencers will be in l.a., then take a short trip to mexico and reenter the u.s., resetting the visa.
so froy would just have to exit the uk, like maybe go to ireland or france, and then reenter the uk and he'll have 90 more days

I don't think it's wise for him to keep traveling around at this time. By the way it's something I feel is none of my business, but I'll say it anyhow. Has he seen any of his California friends or his family in six months? Kind of weird how he's just given up everything to be with this guy.

this whole covid thing obviously changes things. in normal situations it'd be easy to just hop on a plane to france and reset the 90 days. with covid it might be harder. the travelling bans are for people coming from the country, not for people who are of the country. so if froy is in europe he'll be able to go into other european countries with more ease than if he came directly from america, but he'll likely be required to do the 15 day quarantining in countries like france and ireland. which if he plans on spending 3 more months there, might be worth doing, but if he's not gonna be there for much longer, then going to another country, being quarantined for 15 days just to return to the uk to reset the visa seems like too much of a hassle.
HOWEVER, portugal and spain have opened their borders to people coming in from other european countries, and afaik don't demand the quarantining for anyone coming in from those countries. therefore, he can just quickly fly here or to spain, get some sun, and then go back to the uk
