K I think Froy can come out when he feels comfortable and if he ever wants to come out publicly, sometimes people do come out in their personal lives but don't publicly do so. Especially with public figures.

Also again, judging someone's sexuality by the characters they play is silly since in acting you are literally fighting for a role, gay character or not, you are just trying to survive. You will take what you can get as a rookie actor

So if Froy's played a lot of straight characters doesn't necessarily means he's straight. Vice versa for all situations. I bet you that dozens, and dozens of other gay actors likely auditioned for the straight roles that Froy landed. Acting is cutthroat.

You destroy your career if you pick and choose roles based on sexuality. I mean look at the movie Leonardo Dicaprio and David Thewlis did. Pretty sure at that time they were getting whatever they could...

While I don't deny that homophobia is still alive and well in this world, I think it's important to remember that social attitudes have evolved immensely over the last couple decades. I don't think Froy should be all that worried about public perception. His generation, particularly his demographic, is probably going to be fine if/once he comes out. And for those who won't, he'll probably gain just as many, if not more, who will support him. Many of his fans already suspect or know, so...

I think in Froy and Richard's case (particularly Richard's), the issue is less with the public and far more with internal sexual politics in the industry = access to jobs. That's the issue with most of these stars... they want access to as many opportunities as possible, and sadly, the industry still perceives anything other than a straight image as a career liability (for certain roles/career paths).

Froy is still very much at the start of his career. If he's smart about how he navigates his career, and has the right people around him, he can set himself up for being 'out' much easier when he's ready.
